I’ve come to this decision for two reasons:

1. Currently I’m just not being that adventurous with food. The nearly same photo of oats every morning is even boring me at this point. Dinners have been a mashup of fajitas, frozen pizzas, or something with cheese. Snore.

2. I have a lot going on. I didn’t realize it until I stopped and really thought about it.

• I’m attempting to train for a half marathon.
• I have a weekly podcast I do about video games (which means I need to play a fair amount during the week).
• I’m writing a novel. No shit.
• I have three blogs going (including this one).
• And for some dumbass reason I keep offering to create wordpress templates for random people when I haven’t even finished redesigning my own. Oi.

Squeeze all that, plus the normal shit everyone does (housework, pets, yardwork, errands, not-ignoring-friends-or-family, reading romance novels [you do this, right? RIGHT?]), into the ~5-6 hours after work and it’s a pretty tight squeeze.

So there’s my excuse, people. And it really is just an excuse, but something’s gotta give.

I’m still going to post here though it’ll be much more randomly. I need someplace to talk about my runs and/or health related stuff when the need arises. If I eat something interesting I’ll definitely put up a pic.

That’s all I got.

This was sitting on the floor next to our table. Gin got there and was like “wtf?” The woman said “Oh it’s just her doll.”

Ok, it was creepy. I kept waiting for it to spring to life and crawl up Gin’s back.

I didn’t eat breakfast yesterday. I got to work and got busy with something right away. Around 8:45 I realized I hadn’t eaten yet and just said screw it.

Lunch was french onion soup. Mmm.

I did have one of those 90 calories chocolate chewy bars for a snack in the afternoon, but forgot my photo. Oh well. You guys have seen it enough times. heh

Dinner was a new pizza!

It was pretty good! I had a side salad too. Very enjoyable while watching the Celtics win.

I had the soup and salad lunch special at Chili’s. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of my soup.

So excited to see this when I got home from work.

Hubster and I hit up Chili’s for dinner. I decided to try the new pulled pork sandwich (I’m a huge pulled pork fan).

It came with gouda cheese on it and a sweet slaw.

It was not good. I was very disappointed! The taste was rather bland and I had to pile on the salt. No good.

Oh well. Now I know I don’t like it.

I wish I could figure out a solution for lunchtime. Don’t get me wrong, I love going out for lunch. But when you’re trying to watch your calories (stop laughing) it’s very hard. On the other hand, I love getting out of the office for a little bit.

Tammy gave me one of these bars to try. It was good but a bit gooey.

Dinner was simple: grilled sandwiches and salad. Tasty.

Jesse can’t resist going out for breakfast on the weekends:

Busted out some turkey, ham, and cheddar lean pockets for lunch. They were just ok.

Cooper and I spent the afternoon in the backyard. I read, he chilled.

Jesse was getting his sleep back on schedule and wasn’t awake when I made dinner. So, I just threw together one of those Voila meal things (I think that’s what they’re called). This one was garlic chicken. It was pretty good and low in calories!

Time for another work week. Have a good one, all!

Today’s been a great day. This morning was the Pear Run where I ran the 10K. It was a perfect day for a run. Very cloudy, but no rain, so it stayed nice and cool.

I ran strong the whole 6.2 and even had a little left in the tank to turn it up a notch on the home stretch. I think I PR’ed but haven’t received my official time yet.

My friends Tammy and Mike also ran. They both did great too!

Becca – Were you there? I completely forgot to ask if you decided to run it this year.

After the run we stopped to get breakfast tacos. Mmmm!

Potato and egg tacos are the best man! Shared some rice and beans too.

We ended up having a late lunch/early dinner today. Since the frig is nearly empty we hit WW. Buffalo chicken sandwich, please!

This evening I made myself a little treat. Waffles with vanilla icecream and strawberry topping. What?

Time to hit the hay and re-energize myself. Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Lunch today was an Italian combo sandwich with chicken and rice soup.

This afternoon I had one of the new skinny frappachinos at SB. Pretty good and only 150 calories.

Dinner was Mission Burrito! Why, oh why must I love burritos so much? I always over stuff myself!

But it’s just so good.

Jesse is napping so it’s time to get to work on some of my personal projects while it’s quiet (and he’s not tempting me with video games lol).
