Day 2 complete

Hello!

I don’t know about you guys but there’s been a weird funk hanging around lately. Kinda like winter is just starting, but really it’s almost over. Weird. I need to get more productive and stop slacking!

Anyway. Let’s look at cereal.

Around 11am I had a Larabar sample again.

Heather – I got these samples at my last 5K race. I grabbed quite a few handfuls. ;)

I really like the peanut butter and jelly flavor!

Lunch today was… well… not great. I don’t care for most frozen lunches but grabbed a couple of those Healthy Choice steamer bowls to try for lunch this week. I tried the Chicken Marsala today.

This was just ok. It wasn’t great. One of the things that really make me dislike frozen dinners is all the pimentos they put in there. Yuck! I hate pimentos!

It’s very odd for me not to like a certain food so my pimento disdain is very poignant.

Also had an apple. :)

Later in the afternoon I had an awful taste in my mouth. It was an after taste from my lunch. I was looking through my Larabar samples and found a Biscoff sample. Perfect!

Biscoffs are so good and help clean your palate.

I had an ok 3 mile run after work today. The weather was great! It was in the high 70’s and partly cloudy. I was able to wear shorts and a t-shirt finally. It was great running weather.

Dinner tonight was leftover spaghetti. Since it’s just two of us we often have leftovers hanging around. Often, though, they end up getting thrown out because we don’t eat them up. I didn’t want that to happen again and figured a leftover night would carry us into another day of staying on track with our no-eating-out challenge. :)

This week seems to be going by fast. Tomorrow is already hump day. Sweet.

A simple Monday

Good evening!

Today has been a pretty good day, I guess. Started out with cereal. Still on the oats break. ;)

The only thing is that the cereal doesn’t seem to hold me quite as well as the oats did. Around 11:30 I start to get hungry but don’t want to eat lunch until noon.

I had a Larabar sample to hold me over.

Just soup and an apple for lunch. Like I said, simple.

No afternoon snack needed, surprisingly.

Once home the hubster and I recorder our podcast. Then it was pizza time!

And salad. heh

Pretty good stuff. And day 1 of our month of no eating out is a success. Thank god we got past day 1. haha!

Also, I was only about 150 calories over my daily goal, so not terrible.

With that, I’m off to bed. Night!
